COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH SCIENCES

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences is the University’s most recent College approved by the National Universities Commission. Under the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Basic Medical Science admitted its first batch of students in the 2018/2019 academic year and admission is currently on for Degree Programme in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Students for the MBBS Programme to be admitted this 2019/2020 academic year must have taken and passed the UTME in the year 2019. The academic programmes of this College are structured in such a way that they meet the National Universities Commission Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards. The programmes are also tailored at producing well motivated scientists that will meet the global standards of Medical Sciences and their applications. The degrees are acquired through class work, clinical practicals (where applicable) and research project.
