FACULTY OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES

The Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences is the University’s most recent Faculty approved by the National Universities Commission under the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The Faculty admitted its first batch of students in the 2018/2019 academic year. The academic programmes of this Faculty are structured in such a way that they meet the National Universities Commission Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards. The programmes are also tailored at producing well motivated scientists that will meet the global standards of Medical Sciences and the applications. The degrees are acquired through class work, clinical practicals (where applicable) and research project.
